Register for the Online Event: “Fighting on the Frontlines of the Climate Crisis: Extreme Heat and the Right to Health in Pakistan“
📅 10 September 2025 | 🕖 7:00 PM CEST | 🌍 Online
Amnesty International’s recent report, “A Burning Emergency: Extreme Heat and the Right to Health in Pakistan”, highlights how rising temperatures are putting millions of people at serious risk—especially those already living on the margins: day labourers, informal sector workers, workers without protection, children, and older people. This event will explore the report’s findings and place them within a broader conversation about human rights and climate justice. Please join us as we will hear from Amnesty’s Crisis Response Team, as well as from medical doctors and students involved in the report.
